Luff’s features clean and fresh-tasting seafood prepared simply and capably. Our server was consumed by the large party but he did fine with us. One member of my crew quizzed him on differences of the fish, preparations, accompaniments and sauces. He was knowledgeable and courteous, explaining all the options and specials without a hitch. Fish and seafood are the featured attractions, although the menu has barbecue ribs and the obligatory filet mignon for non-fish eaters.

The hostess told us there was no wait for an inside table but we preferred outside to enjoy a beautiful night. We grabbed drinks at the bar after being told the porch would be a minute wait. Inside was smaller and louder than I expected, with 10 seats around the bar and noise bouncing off the tile floors. A nautical motif featured lighting fixtures fashioned from boat steering wheels and walls mounted with buoys, netting and faux fish.
